Kaytron Allen & Vega Ioane Receive AP All-American Honors

Penn State football players Kaytron Allen and Vega Ioane received AP All-American accolades, the team announced Monday night.
Ioane was named a Second-Team AP All-American, with Allen being named to the AP All-American Third-Team.
The senior running back rushed 210 times for 1,303 rushing yards, which ranks seventh in the nation. His Big Ten-leading 15 rushing touchdowns rank tenth in the nation. In Penn State’s game against Nebraska, Allen became the program’s all-time leading rusher with 4,180 career rushing yards.
For Ioane, this is his second All-American accolade of 2025, receiving Second-Team All-American honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation last Friday. The offensive lineman from Graham, Washington, surrendered zero sacks in 2025, according to Pro Football Focus.
The pair of selections extends a five-year streak of the Nittany Lions having an All-American. Penn State has now had an All-American in 53 of the last 59 years.
Both players have declared for the upcoming 2026 NFL Draft and Ioane has opted out of Penn State’s upcoming matchup against Clemson in the Pinstripe Bowl on December 27.
