Penn State Football Offensive Lineman Drew Shelton Declares For 2026 NFL Draft

Penn State football tackle Drew Shelton has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced on Friday evening. Shelton played four seasons with the Nittany Lions and started 34 games.
The Downingtown, Pennsylvania, native was a four-star recruit in the class of 2022 and was the No. 3 player from Pennsylvania and the No. 14 tackle in the nation per the 247Sports Composite rankings.
Shelton played both guard and tackle during his time in Happy Valley. As a true freshman, he logged five starts at left tackle. He saw just one start in his sophomore campaign, but offered value in other ways. Shelton boasted positional versatility by appearing at every position on the line except right guard and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. By his junior year, the 6’5 lineman earned his way back into the first team unit, starting all 16 of Penn State’s games and receiving All-Big Ten honorable mention. In his senior year, he started all 12 games for Penn State.
Shelton is the fourth Nittany Lion to declare for the NFL Draft, joining Zakee Wheatley, Vega Ioane, and Zane Durant.
