[Photo Story] Penn State vs Clemson In The Pinstripe Bowl

Well, folks, the 2025 season has come to an end.
The Nittany Lions traveled to New York City for their last game of the season to take on the Clemson Tigers in The Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium. This marked only the second time the Tigers and Nittany Lions played one another.
Penn State took down Clemson 22-10, marking the Lions’ fourth consecutive win, ending this wild ride of a season on a high note.
Our photographers were there to capture all the action.
The team arrived at Yankee Stadium in true White Out conditions as snow covered parts of the field.

The players warmed up as the snow started to fall.

With 34 players out, the highest of the season, both sides of the ball looked different for the Nittany Lions.

Ryan Barker = perfect.

Defense on both sides kept the score going into the 4th quarter to 9-3.

A 73-yard pass from Ethan Grunkemeyer to Trebor Peña and a successful two-point conversion from Quinton Martin Jr. had the Nittany Lions punch the first touchdown of the game and put them up 15-3.

Clemson answered quickly, scoring their first touchdown of the game to make the score 15-10, but it didn’t matter. Andrew Rappleyea caught an 11-yard pass to score and extend the Nittany Lions’ lead.

The Nittany Lions’ season did a full 360. Defeating Clemson 22-10, taking home the Bad Boy Mowers George M. Steinbrenner III Championship Trophy, and a winning record of 7-6.

Thank you, Terry Smith, for everything.

Bronx native Trebor Peña was awarded the Bad Boy Mowers Pinstripe Bowl MVP Trophy.

All smiles in the Big Apple!

Folks, this rollercoaster of a season is over. Here’s to a new era for Penn State Football. See y’all in 2026!
