Penn State football redshirt-freshman offensive lineman Eagan Boyer is entering the transfer portal, according to a report from Matt Zenitz.

Boyer joined the Nittany Lions in 2024, appearing in four games that season before saving his eligibility with a redshirt. In 2025, he played in seven games, including close ones against Indiana and Iowa.

The Cornelius, North Carolina, native was a three-star prospect out of Hough High School, per 247Sports composite rankings. Boyer was ranked as the No. 581 player in the country, No. 45 offensive tackle, and No. 18 player in North Carolina. He had interest from Auburn, Duke, and Clemson before committing to Penn State.

Boyer is the 25th player to enter the transfer portal since the end of the 2025 season.
