Penn State Football Wide Receiver Liam Clifford Declares For 2026 NFL Draft

Penn State football wide receiver Liam Clifford has declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, he announced on social media Friday afternoon. Clifford, a five-year Nittany Lion, played in all but one game for Penn State in 2025.

The redshirt senior had an extensive career donning the blue and white. He signed in December of 2020 and played in his 50th collegiate game on Senior Day against Nebraska.

Through his 52 games as a Nittany Lion, the Maineville, Ohio, native tallied 530 receiving yards on 42 receptions and a touchdown. He added 16 yards on three carries.

Clifford spent a the back half of 2025 as Penn State’s emergency quarterback with Drew Allar and Jaxon Smolik suffering season-ending injuries, but Ethan Grunkemeyer was able to hold down the fort during his time.

He is the second Penn State wideout to declare for the upcoming draft, joining Kyron Hudson.
