Report: Former Iowa State Wide Receiver Brett Eskildsen Transfers To Penn State Football

Former Iowa State wide receiver Brett Eskildsen has committed to Penn State football out of the transfer portal, according to On3 Sports’ Hayes Fawcett.

The Frisco, Texas, native was a three-star recruit out of Centennial High School, ranked as the No. 139 wide receiver in the country and the No. 150 player in Texas. The 6’1 sophomore will have two years of eligibility remaining. 

Eskildsen has spent his past two seasons with Iowa State, with the 2025 season being his most notable, during which he totaled 30 receptions for 526 yards and 5 touchdowns. He was also given Honorable Mention All-Big 12 honors.

Eskildsen joins his former head coach, Matt Campbell, and other Iowa State stars, including quarterback Rocco Becht, in Happy Valley.
