Lady Lions Commit Chikae Desdunes Reopens Recruitment, Shifts Plans From Penn State

According to On3’s Talia Goodman, Penn State commit Chikae Desdunes has reopened her recruitment as of Tuesday, March 24, and will look for a new home following the recent coaching change for the Lady Lions.

The four-star DME Academy guard signed with the Lady Lions back in November, during what would be head coach Carolyn Kieger’s final season. Former WNBA player and Penn State alumna Tanisha Wright will now lead the program.

Desdunes is ranked No. 51 in the Class of 2026 by ESPN and was the lone signee for the Lady Lions.
