Two Penn State Women’s Hockey Players Named To 2026 Swedish Olympic Team

Current Penn State women’s hockey sophomore forward Nicole Hall and alum Jessica Adolfsson have been named to Sweden’s Olympic Roster, it was announced on Monday morning.

Hall is currently in the midst of the best season of her career, recording 14 points through 21 games. Her eight goals are good for fifth on the team. She already has international experience under her belt, having captained the Sweden U18 for the World Championships in 2021-2022 and played 15 games for the Swedish senior national team.

Adolfsson graduated from Penn State in 2021 and was named to the Swedish Olympic Team for the second time, having played in all five games in the 2022 Beijing Olympics. The Nittany Lion standout has played over 50 games for the Swedish senior national team.

Team Sweden will begin Olympic play with a game against Germany in the preliminary round on February 5.
