Playoff football is finally here, folks.

The first round of the NFL playoffs brought upsets and some great performances from former Penn State football players. Here’s how some Nittany Lions fared throughout Wild Card Weekend.

Parker Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville wide receiver Parker Washington caught seven receptions for 107 yards, including a touchdown in the Jaguars’ loss to the Buffalo Bills. Washington’s grab in the second quarter made the highlight reels as one of the most impressive plays of the weekend.

Odafe Oweh, Los Angeles Chargers

Chargers linebacker Odafe Oweh capped off a successful season with another multi-sack performance. In the Chargers’ 16-3 loss to the New England Patriots, Oweh totaled three sacks and four tackles.

Jaquan Brisker, Chicago Bears

Safety Jaquan Brisker made nine total tackles, including five solo tackles, in the Chicago Bears’ 31-27 win against the Green Bay Packers.

Other Notable Performances

  • Ji’Ayir Brown totaled four tackles before being ruled out of the San Francisco 49ers’ win against the Philadelphia Eagles.
  • Carolina Panthers safety Nick Scott ended his season by totaling nine tackles in the team’s loss against the Los Angeles Rams.
  • Saquon Barkley rushed for 106 yards on 26 attempts in the Eagles’ loss.
  • Joey Porter Jr. made two tackles and defended two passes in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ 30-6 loss to the Houston Texans.
