Flo Rida Was A ‘Wild One’ At SPA Day 2026

After an electrifying hype-up by DJ Temi, Flo Rida’s set tore down the walls of Alumni Hall at SPA Day 2026 on Friday night. The popular rapper performed some of his greatest hits for the hundreds in attendance to enjoy.

The HUB, completely transformed from its normal career-fair and study space functions, hosted the event, which began at 8 p.m. with an hour-long set from Penn State’s very own DJ Temi. Despite not being the main event, Temi made sure everyone knew it was a party. On several occasions, the DJ even left his mixers and busted a few moves before the rowdy crowd.

Temi graced the fans with bangers that included “Love Sosa” by Chief Keef, “Lip Gloss” by Lil Mama, “Only Girl (In the World)” by Rihanna, “It’s Tricky” by Run-D.M.C., and even “Love” by Keyshia Cole. It was truly a rollercoaster in the HUB.

After a while, it was time to bring Flo Rida out, and he certainly brought it. Coming in hot with two backup dancers and two hypemen, Flo Rida had the crowd in his hands in seconds with “In The Ayer” featuring will.i.am. The hypemen threw full cups of cold water into the crowd, which may have hit a few members of the press.

The energy didn’t stop after the first song, as his entourage threw shirts and eventually roses into the crowd, which only got crazier. “Where Them Girls At” by David Guetta ft. Flo Rida came next, along with a song by Oya Baby.

Then, the unexpected happened. Flo’s team brought a huge group of girls from the crowd onto the stage. Flo Rida began “Low,” probably his biggest hit, and the crowd went nuts. Several fans from the front row barreled over the barricade, and a few collided with press photographers before attempting to join the lucky group onstage. Some even made it.

Flo Rida and Temi’s performance was as memorable and high-energy as you would expect from such a duo.
