Yanic Konan Niederhauser Named To NBA Rising Stars G-League All-Star Weekend Roster

Penn State’s men’s basketball’s first-ever first-round pick, Yanic Konan Niederhauser, was invited to the NBA’s All-Star weekend as part of the G-League roster for the 2026 Rising Stars Challenge.

Konan Niederhauser was selected in last year’s NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Clippers, with the 30th overall pick. Since being drafted, the 6’11” center has garnered playing time in both the G-League and at the NBA level.

Through eight games with the Clippers’ G-League team, Konan Niederhauser has posted 14.5 points per game and 9.5 rebounds per game. The Penn State product debuted in the NBA on October 22nd and has played 25 games for the Los Angeles Clippers, averaging 3.6 points with 8.7 minutes per game.

During his senior year at Penn State, Konan Niederhauser averaged 12.9 points per game and led the Big Ten in blocks per game with 2.3 per outing.
