He is tied for the national lead in both goals and points. He has now recorded points in five straight games for the Nittany Lions.
Dowiak also recorded his first-ever hat-trick this weekend against the Badgers. He secured the game for the Nittany Lions on Friday and had two assists in the Saturday game.
Penn State will take on Michigan State at 6 p.m. Friday, January 30, at Pegula Ice Arena.
