[Photo Story] Penn State Women’s Hockey Sweeps Series Against Delaware

No. 4 Penn State women’s hockey swept the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens at Pegula Ice Arena over the weekend. The two victories led to the blue and white earning the regular-season AHA championship. Of course, our photographers were in Hockey Valley to capture all the action from the series.

Between the two games, the team fired off 90 shots, netting five unanswered goals in the first game and seven in the second.

There were nine different goal scorers among the 13 total goals. The Nittany Lions also tallied a total of 22 penalty minutes between the two matchups.

Penn State women’s hockey will face Robert Morris on Friday, January 30, at 1 p.m. at Beaver Stadium, and Saturday, January 31, at 6 p.m. at Pegula Ice Arena.
