Former Penn State Football Wide Receiver Josiah Brown Transfers To Long Island

Former Penn State football wide receiver Josiah Brown is transferring to Long Island, the team announced on Monday. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

Brown did not record a stat with Penn State over the last two seasons. He missed the entire 2025 season with a long-term injury. He committed to the Nittany Lions as the No. 2 player in New York, No. 57 wide receiver, and No. 365 player in the class of 2024, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings.

The Malvern High School product racked up 589 all-purpose yards and eight touchdowns as a senior and 452 yards and eight touchdowns as a junior.

Brown is the seventh former Penn State wideout to find a new home out of the transfer portal. He is also the fourth Nittany Lion to transfer to an FCS school, joining Bekkem Kritza (Alabama A&M), Brady O’Hara (Monmouth), and Aaron Enterline (Towson).
