Penn State Wrestling Sets NCAA Indoor Wrestling Attendance Record

No. 1 Penn State wrestling broke the record for NCAA indoor attendance at wrestling duals in the team’s victory against No. 2 Ohio State at the Bryce Jordan Center on Friday.

The Nittany Lions set the record with 16,006 fans in attendance, breaking the previous record of 15,998 when Penn State wrestling took on Iowa at the Bryce Jordan Center in 2018.

The all-time attendance record belongs to the Iowa Hawkeyes, when they had over 42 thousand people attending Kinnick Stadium on November 14, 2015, in a dual win against at the time No. 1-ranked Oklahoma.

Penn State defeated Ohio State 36-5 in front of the record crowd to clinch the Big Ten regular season title.
