Penn State Dining To Offer Ramadan Meal Service

Market North at Warnock Commons will offer several unique dining offerings for Ramadan, which will take place from February 14 to March 19.

Packaged dishes will be available for purchase for Suhoor, the pre-fasting meal right before sunrise. Some of the options include falefel rice bowl, Turkish lamb kofte bowl, beef gyro bowl, naan dipper with hummus or tzatziki, and vegetable omelet.

These items will be labeled specifically for Ramadan and will be available for all convenience store customers.

Warnock Commons’ all-you-care-to-eat buffet will offer daily special service during Iftar, the fast-breaking meal during evening hours, from 5 to 8 p.m. Suhoor meals and Iftar service will be located at Redifer Commons during spring break, from March 7 to 14.
