iSpy: THON 2026 Edition

From Line Dances to concerts and a variety of games being played, there’s always something happening in the Bryce Jordan Center through the 46 hours of THON weekend. Between events, your eyes will wander, and you might just see some things you would’ve never expected.

With this year’s edition of iSpy, use your eagle eyes and look around the Bryce Jordan Center to spot them all

1. Broken Greek Letters

Whether you’re on the floor or in the stands, Greek letters surround you. Every year, the Greek pairings bring big cardboard cutouts of their letters to the BJC that are held high through the 46 hours. Whether because it was dropped or stepped on, broken letters are inevitable in the stands this weekend.

2. A Hotdog Costume

There are some wacky costumes that have graced THON weekend before. Out of everyone on the floor, there are a few who have decided to show up in style. Try scanning the floor below in search of a delicious hot dog.

3. Penn State Brandywine

A couple of branch campuses are here at THON, including Penn State Brandywine. Scan the stands and see if you can spot them!

4. Closed Portals

To control traffic going in and out of the stands, sometimes portals get closed off during certain points throughout the weekend. Sometimes you’re unlucky, and it closes in the middle of you out looking for a snack.

5. The Nittany Lions

The symbol of Penn State will sometimes show up at different points throughout the weekend. If you pay enough attention you might just see him.

6. Toys Being Played With

Whether it’s a tennis ball, water gun, or bouncy ball, there isn’t a shortage of fun things to keep everyone entertained. Keep your eyes peeled and maybe you’ll see a water gun fight to lift your mood.

7. Different Characters

On the floor, a variety of characters will show up from time to time. From Star Wars to Disney Princesses, you can find those on the floor getting pictures with some of their favorite characters from their favorite franchises.

8. The Human Counterpart Of A Big Head

Organizations in the stands have a habit of printing out enlarged, funny version of the faces of their dancers. If you look hard enough, you might be able to match the person on the floor to the head in the stands.

9. Different Fun Hats

From fuzzy pink hats to cowboy hates to safari hats, theres no shortage of hats throughout the BJC. If you’re lucky you might find one that is unlike all the rest.

10. Colorful Mohawks

To go along with the fun head wear, there a a variety of mohawks that have graced the floor. Look hard enough and you may find the lucky light-up red one!
