On(Wordle) State: The Ultimate City of THON Word Guessing Game

Keeping your brain stimulated over the span of 46 hours can be a hard thing to do. The line dances, live performances, and holding letters all keep the body active while the mind slowly loses power.

Here at Onward State, we care about your mental stimulation. We’ve created THON-inspired wordles to keep those in the Bryce Jordan Center from losing it, as they deserve a nice brain break.

As a refresher, there are three different colored tiles the game uses:

  • Gray, which tells the player that the corresponding letter is not included in the final word.
  • Yellow, which tells the player that the letter is included in the final word, but it is not in the correct spot.
  • Green, which tells the player that the letter included is in the final word and is in the correct spot.

You get six guesses of five-letter words to try and get all tiles to turn green. Check out ours, special to 2026, and see how you fare:

If that was too easy for you, it means you probably have the brain power for a few more hours of standing. Ifheck out some of these that are a little more challenging, as they are outside the traditional five-letter words, but still relate to THON.

Lastly, one final wordle for those who REALLY love a challenge. This one is for those who have stayed long nights and early mornings in the BJC for the kids.
