Brainstorming Meals That THON Dancers Could Be Craving The Most Right Now

THON dancers are giving everything they have to survive standing for 46 hours. But to do that, they need the help of the Hospitality Committee. They give dancers meals throughout the weekend, but the food doesn’t always satisfy the appetites of all the dancers. We wouldn’t blame them if they’re craving their favorite meal instead. We tried to guess some of the dancers’ meals that they are craving for the most.

Champs Downtown

Don’t be surprised if a lot of dancers go to Champs instead of bed after THON.

Champs Downtown is having a dancer afterparty, and every dancer who is 21+ will get a free shirt. Not only will dancers get a free shirt along with drink discounts, but they will also get a 46% discount on food. Since most of the food items at Champs are originally priced under $20, I expect most of the dancers to take advantage of this great opportunity.

With pizza, hamburgers, and a lot of other options on the menu, dancers will have no problem loading their plate.

Benny Leone’s Pizza

If dancers are extremely hungry and want to eat something fast and big, Benny Leone’s Pizza is the perfect place to do so. They have great types of pizza, like meat lovers and pepperoni, and it’s huge. If you are extremely hungry for pizza and for a big quantity, Benny Leone’s fits all the criteria.

Famous Ernie’s Steaks

If you are a dancer from Philadelphia or outside Philadelphia, I would not be surprised if you are craving a Philly cheesesteak after THON.

Famous Ernie’s Steaks has has probably the best cheesesteaks in downtown State College. They are fast, so you can takeout your food, eat it at home, and then go to bed. Not only do they have great Philly cheesesteaks, but they also have other food items on their menu, like wings and fries.

A Philly cheesesteak before going to bed sounds delicious, and even if the cheesesteaks don’t entice you, the hamburgers or wings might do the trick.

Brothers Bar & Grill

Today is a big day. It’s not only the final day of THON, but the USA men’s hockey team plays Canada for the gold medal.

The game is set for 8:10 a.m. Sunday during THON, and the dancers will have a hard time streaming the game due to the bad connection at the Bryce Jordan Center.

For that reason, dancers could easily head to Brothers Bar & Grill. Not just to eat, but to watch a replay of the gold medal match between the USA and Canada (hopefully with good news). Brothers is known for being a sports bar, so they have a lot of TVs for everyone to watch.

Along with that, they have a great menu as they have a great variety of wings, cheese curds, hamburgers, and so much more. It doesn’t get better than eating your favorite meal while watching a replay between the USA vs Canada.
