THON In Haiku Form

Another THON weekend, another graveyard shift. What better way to keep ourselves lively than with haiku? With THON being such a fun-filled weekend, there is almost too much to write about. When you look back on THON Weekend 2026, we hope you remember one of these poems.
For those that aren’t aware, a haiku is a traditional form of poetry consisting of 17 syllables. The poem is split into three lines. There are five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, and five more in the third.
Without further ado, some THON haiku!
THON, Love Leads Forward,
With no sitting, no sleeping,
Forty-six hours.
Organizations,
All of our THON families,
We come together.
BJC boomin’,
Smiles all across the board,
It’s all For The Kids.
Rolling out your feet,
Taking pictures with your friends,
Awesome memories.
Dancing for a cure,
Performances to get hype,
Energy stays high.
OS on press row,
Rooting for one another,
Listen, we got this.
A BJC meal,
A lap around with your friends,
Best weekend ever.
As the weekend ends,
Look at the experience,
Inspiring all.
Happy THON weekend.
