Harlem Globetrotters To Play At Bryce Jordan Center February 24

Buckle up, folks! The Harlem Globetrotters are back in town at the Bryce Jordan Center on February 24 at 7 p.m. as part of their 100 Year World Tour. Tickers are available here.

“This is a once-in-a-century celebration of 100 Years of Jaw-Dropping ‘No Way!’ moves, 100 Years of ‘Wow!’ and 100 Years Heart-Pounding Thrills!” the Globetrotters said on their website.

The world-famous exhibition basketball team has traveled around the world since 1926. The group transformed into American cultural icons throughout the 20th century through their extreme and theatrical style of play.

The group helped popularize basketball trick shots and focuses on making the game more interesting to the masses. They’ve inspired other theatrical teams for other sports, such as the Savannah Bananas for baseball.

The Globetrotters last graced the Bryce Jordan Center floor in March 2023, where they beat their longtime “rivals”, the Washington Generals, by eight points. If you’re looking for some good basketball in Happy Valley this year, this is probably your best bet.
