State Patty’s 2026 Prop Bets

One of Penn State’s biggest weekends of the year is nearly upon us.
This weekend is State Patty’s, a holiday created by students involving crazy energy and foolish shenanigans, but a whole lot of fun for those participating. State College is known for having one of the best St. Patrick’s Day celebrations of any college in America.
Last year, we decided to make prop bets in honor of one of Penn State’s finest traditions, and we are back for more.
For those who need a refresher on what prop bets are, Onward State co-founder Evan Kalikow said it best: “A prop bet is short for proposition bet. Basically, it’s a bet on something not commonly betted upon. For example, lots of people bet on the score of the Super Bowl, but how many people bet on how many times the winning coach will say ‘humbled’ in the post-game press conference? That’s a prop bet.”
Please remember that Onward State is not a gambling site. We do not encourage gambling, and we do not promote it. These prop bets are not real in any way. We also encourage Penn State students and people to act responsibly, but have a good time while doing so.
Now, let’s get into the prop bets!
