Happy Valley: the one place you probably don’t want to be over spring break. This you? If it is, no need to worry, we’ve got you covered.

Spring break might feel like 100 years, but whether you’re up here for the full week or just a day, there are a plethora of fun activities for you to do with family, friends, or even by yourself. Get hype and maybe even whip out that calendar.

Here is a compiled list of things to do in State College this spring break, from Friday, March 6, to Sunday, March 15.

Penn State Hockey

  • Penn State women’s hockey vs. Mercyhurst- 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Pegula Ice Arena
  • Penn State men’s hockey vs TBA- Wednesday, March 10, at Pegula Ice Arena

Penn State Baseball

  • Penn State vs. Iowa – 5:30 p.m. on Friday, March 13, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park
  • Penn State vs. Iowa – 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park
  • Penn State vs. Iowa – 1 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park

Penn State Men’s Lacrosse

  • Penn State vs. #7/#9 Cornell – 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at Panzer Stadium

Penn State Women’s Lacrosse

  • Penn State vs. Princeton – Noon on Sunday, March 15 at Panzer Stadium

Outdoor Activities

The week of spring break is predicted to have great weather! With this past week being so rainy, it would be worth going on a stroll downtown or going to the Arboretum. The Arboretum has a plethora of green plants and beautiful flowers, as well as fountains and open grass areas.

This is a good opportunity to take a walk, go for a run, read a book, or listen to some music in nature. Downtown State College offers different restaurants, bars, clothing shops, and more.
