Lady Lions Guard Tèa Clèante To Enter Transfer Portal

Penn State women’s basketball freshman Tèa Clèante is entering the transfer portal, she announced Saturday via Instagram.

The French guard is the third Lady Lion to enter the transfer portal following the hiring of head coach Tanisha Wright. Clèante was fourth on the team in scoring, putting up 8.7 points per game while being a key starter. She also tallied 2.9 assists and 1.6 steals per game, which was good for second on the team in both categories.

After a successful freshman season in Happy Valley, the two-time European Basketball Championship gold-medalist will look for a home elsewhere.
