Penn State Men’s Volleyball Moves Up Two Spots To No. 15 In AVCA Poll

Penn State men’s volleyball has moved up two spots in the latest AVCA polls from No. 17 to No. 15, the association announced Tuesday.
The move comes after the Nittany Lions won all three of their matches against ranked opponents this past week, including a win over No. 16 Ohio State and a sweep of No. 19 NJIT.
On Wednesday, Penn State beat Ohio State in a neutral site at the Fitzgerald Fieldhouse in Pittsburgh, 3-1. It then rounded out the week at home, leaving the Highlanders winless in the set column, retiring both matches after three sets.
The Nittany Lions head to Charleston, West Virginia, this weekend for a two-game series against the Golden Eagles. Match one is set for at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 3, with match two following at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 4. Both games can be streamed on MECTV.
