Three-Star Defensive Lineman Carter Blattner Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 three-star defensive lineman Carter Blattner has committed to Penn State football, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Blattner is ranked as the No. 8 player in Pennsylvania, No. 48 defensive lineman in the Class of 2027, and No. 417 player nationally, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. He currently attends Northern Highlands High School in Allentown, New Jersey, and he is listed at 6’5″ and 260 pounds.

Blattner becomes the first defensive lineman and fourth player overall to join Penn State’s 2027 class. He joins Semajay Robinson, Zachary Gleason Jr., and Ka’ron Ceaser as Matt Campbell and his staff continue on the recruiting trail. He is considered the highest-rated recruit in the group as it stands.

Blattner chose Penn State over USC, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Pitt, and Virginia Tech. You can check out the newest Nittany Lion’s highlights on his Hudl.
