Report: Penn State Hoops Re-Signs Ivan Jurić & Signs Two Overseas Players

Penn State men’s basketball starting center Ivan Jurić will be returning to the team next season, and the Nittany Lions have signed overseas players Roko Prkačin and François Wibaut, according to Jonathan Givony from DraftExpress.

Despite the Nittany Lions’ struggles this season, Jurić was one of the bright spots on the team in his freshman year as he averaged 10.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, shooting over 57% from the field in 30 appearances.

Prkačin is a 23-year-old Croatian who played for the Croatian national team before. Before signing with Penn State, he was playing professionally this season in France for the professional team Nanterre, where he averaged 6.2 points and 4.7 rebounds in 17 minutes per game in 23 appearances.

Wibaut is a 21-year-old who was playing professionally in France, where he averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He was a starter for Pac Orthez in Pro B in France and has been playing professionally in France for the past three seasons. Prkačin and Wilbaut are the first additions to next season’s Penn State team.
