Penn State Men’s Volleyball Stays At No. 15 In Latest AVCA Poll

Penn State men’s volleyball remained No. 15 for the third consecutive week in the latest AVCA Poll released on Monday afternoon.

The Nittany Lions held steady with 155 votes, six fewer than last week’s rankings, after sweeping Sacred Heart on the road in a two-match series to remain undefeated in EIVA conference play.

Despite being 2-1 sets down in both matches, Penn State survived to extend its winning streak heading into its regular-season finale series against George Mason. Along with Penn State, NJIT is the only ranked EIVA team, coming in at No. 20.

The Nittany Lions can clinch the EIVA regular-season title at Rec Hall when they take on George Mason over the weekend in a two-match series. They only need to win one of the two matches to clinch home-court advantage in the conference tournament.

The first match is set for 6 p.m. on Friday, April 17. The second match will be at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 18. Both matches will be streamed on BTN+.
