Class Of 2027 Prospect Kate Kalczynski Commits To Penn State Women’s Volleyball

Class of 2027 propspect Kate Kalczynski has committed to Penn State women’s volleyball, she announced Sunday night.

Kalczynski is Prep Dig’s No. 13 overall player and became the third member of Penn State women’s volleyball 2027 cycle, joining Nejari Crooks and Taylor Harrington.

Kalczynski, who originally committed to Ohio State, attends Mercy High School in Farmington, Michigan. She plays club volleyball for Legacy Volleyball Club. She plays as an outside hitter for the same high school and club team as Jess Mruzik did and stands at 6’1″.

According to MaxPreps, Kalczynski ranks in the top 20 nationally in total blocks and serving aces. She has recorded 529 kills during her time at Mercy, which is seventh in Division I and 14th in Michigan. You can check out the newest Nittany Lions’ Hudl highlights here.
