Penn State Men’s Volleyball’s Sean Harvey Named EIVA Offensive Player Of The Week

Sean Harvey has been named EIVA Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday. It is Harvey’s fourth time receiving the honor this season. 

The 6’7″ redshirt sophomore had 38 kills with 3.80 kills per set, 21 digs, and eight blocks across the Nittany Lions’ two-game series against George Mason, with both games resulting in a five-set Penn State victories.

Harvey and his .373 hitting percentage played a significant role in helping clinch the EIVA regular-season title.

The EIVA Tournament will begin on Wednesday, April 22, with Penn State hosting George Mason, Princeton, Charleston, Sacred Heart, and NJIT. The Nittany Lions will take the court at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, facing Charleston or Sacred Heart in the semifinal matchup. The championship match will be held on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Rec Hall.
