[Photo Story] SASA’s 2026 Holi Celebration

On Friday, April 17, the South Asian Student Association (SASA) hosted a celebration of Holi, the vibrant festival of colors. The festival celebrates the arrival of spring.

The celebration had food, music, and colored powder. People of all backgrounds came together to share in the spirit of the holiday.

Bouncy houses, caricatures, bull riding, and many other activities were organized in the HUB Lawn’s “color-free zone.”

There was plenty of food and snacks for people to enjoy!

Participants enjoyed the nice weather and the talented dance performances as they waited to throw the powder.

Once the powder started flying, HUB Lawn turned hazy.

There were plenty of hugs going around.

There were so many smiles amidst the colors.

Overall, everyone had fun. Happy Holi, Penn State!
