Three-Star Forward Jamison White Decommits From Penn State Hoops

Class of 2026 three-star forward Jamison White has decommitted from Penn State men’s basketball, he announced Saturday. He was Penn State’s lone member of the 2026 recruiting class.
The 6’7″, 215-pound power forward is ranked as the No. 2 player out of Illinois, No. 41 player at his position, and No. 241 player nationally, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings.
White committed to Penn State in September 2025 and signed in November, favoring Penn State over Kansas State, Southeast Missouri State, and Saint Louis.
White has a long list of accolades, including single-season records in both scoring (694) and rebounding (452) at East St. Louis Senior High School. He is a Class 3A Illinois State Champion and MVP, as well as a two-time Peach Jam champion through AAU team Bradley Beal Elite.
The senior averaged 20 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks with a 50% field goal percentage while shooting 40% from deep. White is the son of former NBA center Jahidi White, a 1998 Washington Wizards draft pick out of Georgetown.
