Report: Penn State Football Defensive End Jordan Mayer No Longer With Program

Penn State football defensive end Jordan Mayer is no longer with the program, per Lions247’s Mark Brennan.

Mayer transferred to Penn State ahead of the 2024 season after redshirting at Wisconsin in 2023. He appeared in all 15 games, mostly in a special teams capacity, racking up 1.5 sacks on the year. He was a Class of 2023 three-star recruit out of Thomas Jefferson High School in Clairton, Pennsylvania.

Mayer did not appear in a game for the Nittany Lions in 2025. He was listed as “out” on the Big Ten availability report for every game. Mayer did not appear on Penn State’s roster at Blue-White Practice on Saturday. He is also no longer listed on Penn State’s online directory.
