Former Alabama Huntsville Guard Thomas Allard Transfers To Penn State Hoops

Former Alabama Huntsville guard Thomas Allard has committed to transfer to Penn State men’s basketball, he announced today. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The Suwanee, Georgia, native played his first three seasons for Lincoln Memorial University, a Division II college in Tennessee. In his first season as a redshirt freshman, he averaged 3.7 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.6 assists while shooting 31.6% from the field. His second season improved, as he averaged 8 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game while shooting 48.4% from the field.

He then transferred to Alabama Huntsville, where he averaged 13.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 3.5 assists while shooting 40.9% from the field. He was named to the All-GSC Second Team in the Gulf South Conference.

Allard is Penn State’s fifth transfer portal commit following Tim Oboh.
