Former Buffalo center Tim Oboh has committed to transfer to Penn State men’s basketball, he announced Sunday.

The Orpington, England, native played the last two seasons for the Bulls, appearing in 62 total games and starting 51 at the five. He started all 32 games for Buffalo in 2025-26, averaging 8.5 points per game and 9.6 in MAC play. He finished the season as the team’s block leader with 47 and averaged 4.9 rebounds per game.

Oboh suited up for Great Britain in the U16 and U18 levels of the European Championship competitions before hopping the pond to upstate New York. He earned Academic All-MAC Honors a season ago.

Oboh is Penn State’s fourth transfer commit and second out of the MAC, joining Miami (Ohio)’s Brant Byers, Davidson’s Roberts Blums, and Central Connecticut State’s Jay Rodgers.
