Shaver’s Creek Partnering With The Creamery To Release Limited Edition Ice Cream Flavor

Shaver’s Creek Environmental Center has teamed up with the Berkey Creamery to release bittersweet mint ice cream. The limited-edition flavor is in celebration of Shaver’s Creek’s 50th anniversary.

The new flavor, based on the beautiful scenery found at Shaver’s Creek, is traditional mint ice cream with bittersweet chocolate chips mixed in. The environmental center will serve the limited-edition ice cream during the ice cream hour at its 50th anniversary celebration on May 23rd.

Shaver’s Creek was founded in 1976 and has been a field laboratory for Penn State students looking to get into teaching the natural world. It is also used as a teaching center for those looking to achieve and maintain harmony between human activities and the natural systems.
