Four-Star Defensive Lineman Stanley Montgomery Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 four-star defensive lineman Stanley Montgomery has committed to Penn State football, per On3’s Hayces Fawcett.
The Philadelphia native is ranked as the No. 7 player in Pennsylvania, the No. 14 defensive lineman, and the No. 120 player nationally, per 247Sports composite rankings.
Montgomery plays for Archbishop Ryan and was offered by Penn State on January 15, 2026. He showed interest in the Nittany Lions before that, attending two camps over the summer, but without an offer, he committed to Syracuse.
The defensive lineman took an unofficial visit to Happy Valley 16 days after receiving an offer from Matt Campbell and his staff, and then officially decommitted from the Orange on February 3, 2026.
Montgomery chose Penn State over Virginia, Kentucky, Boston College, and Cincinnati. To see what the newest Nittany Lion will bring to Beaver Stadium, check out his Hudl highlights here.
