Slayyyter Cranks Up The Energy At Movin’ On

Hyperpop star Slayyyter, best known for her hit song “CRANK” and her most recent album “WOR$T GIRL IN AMERICA,” performed at Movin’ On and brought heavy energy at the IM Fields at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.

Despite the rain, Slayyyter put on a show for the audience.

Catherine Grace Carner, also known as Slayyyter, began making music in 2016-17 after dropping out of college. She started producing and eventually released her debut single “BFF” in 2018.

She opened up with her song “DANCE…,” starting the concert a little more melodically. But she still screamed for the crowd to pump up their energy.

Slayyyter then played “OLD FLINGS,” which was the second straight song off her album “WORST GIRL IN AMERICA.”

She then introduced herself to the crowd to get a burst of excitement. Fans started to get pumped up for the upcoming music she continued to perform. Her third song was “OLD TECHNOLOGY,” which had a nice beat for the crowd to move to.

Right after, she went straight into her hit song “CRANK”, a hard-hitting track blasted through the speakers. The crowd was excited to hear her most popular song with lights flashing everywhere.

Slayyyter jumped into her recent release, “BROKE BITCH FREE$TYLE,” which was a fast-paced and more composed. Right after, she performed “YES GODDD,” which was another heavy bass song where she screamed to pump up the crowd.

She performed “UNKNOWN LOVERZ” and “GAS STATION,” as she continued to play songs off her recent album.

Her next song was “CANNNIBALISM,” where Slayyyter jumped back into heavy punk-style music. Her vocals gradually got louder for higher energy.

The next two songs were “I’M ACTUALLY KINDA FAMOUS,” which was more rhythmic, and “$T. LOSER,” which was more hyper. Slayyyter showed off her vocal range on “$T. LOSER” with a high pitch.

Her next song was “BRITTANY MURPHY,” for a little bit of a calmer sound, to then end off the night with “BEAT UP CHANEL$.” Before her final song, she hyped up the crowd in hopes of making it the best one of the day.
