Zara Larsson Brings Summer Vibes To Movin’ On

Despite the rainy, cold weather, Swedish pop star Zara Larsson brought all the sunny, warm vibes to the Movin’ On Stage, promising the crowd, “We’re gonna make you feel like it’s summer,” and she delivered.

She opened her set with “Midnight Sun,” the title track from her recent album Midnight Sun, showcasing her powerful vocals as she was lifted into her iconic pose and sang the chorus.

She followed up with “Blue Moon,” showing off just the beginning of a night full of entertaining choreography, before moving into “Can’t Tame Her” and “I Would Like.”

She then paused to hype up the crowd, sharing that among all the colleges she’s performed at recently, Penn State has been the best one.

Then came dancer roll call, where Larsson introduced her girls, Rosalina, Chelsea, Lovisa, and Summer, each performing to a playful rap about themselves.

The energy only increased when the queen of summer performed “Pretty Ugly,” where she had the thousands of fans repeating, “I’m so pretty, I can get ugly / I’m so ugly, and that’s what makes me pretty.”

She showered the audience in compliments, obsessing over the endless color and sparkle she saw, before sliding into “Hot and Sexy.”

With the vibrant atmosphere showing no signs of slowing down, Larsson broke out into “Ain’t My Fault,” including her viral mashup dance break to “Looking For The Hoes (Ain’t My Fault)” by Sexyy Red.

She then went Penn “Stateside” with her verse on “Stateside + Zara Larsson,” a song in collaboration with PinkPantheress.

After a water break with Fortnite sound effects, she returned with “Crush,” bringing a light and airy vibe to the crowd.

Undoubtedly the most anticipated moment in her set, it was time to be transported back to the summer of 2016 with “Lush Life.” She pulled a lucky fan from the crowd to join her on stage for the famous dance, spraypainting his shirt with “We Are Penn State” and indulging in the chant before they rocked the stage together.

She switched the tempo with the heartfelt throwback, “Never Forget You,” before circling back to “Midnight Sun”.

To close the night, she delivered her 2017 hit collaboration with Clean Bandit, “Symphony,” while tossing a dolphin into the crowd and reminding us all, “Summer is endless when it comes from within.”
