Three-Star Offensive Tackle David Tarawallie Commits To Penn State Football

Class of 2027 three-star offensive tackle David Tarawallie has committed to Penn State football, he announced Thursday.

Tarawallie is tabbed as the No. 53 player in the class, No. 23 player in Ohio, and No. 598 player in the nation, per 247Sports’ Composite rankings. The Riverside High School product also got some run on the defensive line in his freshman and sophomore seasons.

“Lean, framey offensive tackle prospect who appears a bit narrow, but still possesses immense bulking capacity,” 247Sports scouting analyst Gabe Brooks wrote. “Impressive functional athlete who uses lateral suddenness and foot quickness as a run-game traveler and pass protector.”

The 6’5.5″, 260-pound run blocker is Penn State’s 15th commit in its No. 8-ranked 2027 recruiting class, per the same metric. He joins a crowded offensive line room for Ryan Clanton’s first class as a Penn State coach, adding to three-stars Owen Reilly, Ryan Robbins, and Jon Sassic.

Tarawallie committed to Penn State just a day after receiving his offer. Check out what the newest Nittany Lion brings to Happy Valley with his Hudl highlights here.
