Guard Andy Gemao Commits To Penn State Hoops

Class of 2026 guard Andy Gemao has committed to Penn State men’s basketball, per Rivals Joe Tipton on Twitter.

The 6’1″ point guard from the Philippines is ranked as the No. 108 player in his class, per On3’s rankings. Gemao moved to Canada to complete his high school education at Royal Crown High School in Toronto. He also played for the University of the Philippines in the NSAC Collegiate Basketball Campus Tour.

Gemao received the offer from Penn State earlier Friday and committed to the Nittany Lions right away. It was his first Power Four offer. He becomes the fifth player Penn State has added to its roster in the off-season, following Thomas Allard. He continues the trend of international players under Mike Rhoades, helping the rebuild.
