Former Penn State Offensive Line Commit Layton Von Brandt Commits To Auburn

Former Penn State class of 2027 offensive line commit Layton Von Brandt has committed to Auburn, he announced on the Rivals YouTube channel on Monday.

Von Brandt is the No. 64 player nationally, No. 5 offensive tackle, and No. 1 player in Delaware, per 247Sports composite rankings.

The Middletown, Delaware, native committed to Penn State in November 2024, but announced his decommitment almost a year later in October 2025 after James Franklin was fired. He was offered by the new staff on December 12, 2025.

The 6’6 290-pound offensive lineman held offers from Penn State, Florida, Notre Dame, and Ohio State, but ended up choosing the Tigers. He is one of the final Franklin-era commitments to find a home.
