Graduate Transfer Owen Tasse Commits To Penn State Men’s Lacrosse

Former St. Bonaventure defender Owen Tasse has committed to Penn State lacrosse, he announced on Instagram on Wednesday. He has one season of eligibility remaining.

The graduate transfer played the last 14 games for the Bonnies last season, recording 30 turnovers and scooping up 59 ground balls. He also worked in transition, finding the back of the net three times. He also made 13 appearances as a freshman in 2023 and 16 as a junior in 2025. He missed the 2024 season due to injury.

Prior to St. Bonaventure, Tasse played box lacrosse in Canada. He won the 2023 Minto Cup with the Burlington Blaze and the 2022 Founders Cup with the Nepean Knights.

Tasse is the first transfer to commit to Penn State after its 2026 season came to a close.
