Penn State Men’s Hockey Set To Play Niagara On New Year’s Eve

Penn State men’s hockey’s 2026-27 schedule is beginning to take shape.
The Niagara Purple Eagles released their 2026-27 non-conference schedule on Wednesday, showing a two-game series against Penn State, split between Pegula Ice Arena and Dwyer Arena. The Nittany Lions will host Niagara on December 31 before the series shifts to Western New York on January 2.
Penn State already announced it will open the 2026-27 season at the Icebreaker Tournament in Connecticut, where it will face UConn on October 9 and Sacred Heart on October 10.
The remainder of Penn State’s 2026-27 schedule has not yet been released. Last season, Penn State announced its non-conference schedule in July, while the Big Ten released its conference schedule in August.
