10 Questions With The Lush Life Dancer At Movin’ On Sean Eden

Movin’ On 2026 was full of fun, summer vibes, and dancing. Each show, Zara Larsson picks a fan from the crowd to perform Lush Life with her. Movin’ On 2026 was no different.

Sean Eden, a 2025 sociology graduate, was chosen by the singer and brought onstage. The current child welfare social worker in Philadelphia painted himself all blue to draw Larsson’s attention, and it worked.

We reached out to Eden to learn a little more about what went into being picked.

OS: Are you a big Zara Larsson fan?

Eden: Yes! When I saw her perform in Philly in March, I was about six rows behind the barricade, so I knew I needed to go all out for Movin’ On. She will probably be my top artist on Spotify Wrapped this year.

OS: What did the preparation for Movin’ On look like for you?

Eden: I live in Philadelphia, so it was a bit of a commitment to drive to Penn State for Movin’ On.

I still have some friends at PSU I was able to stay with, but I decided to tent camp in Bellefonte instead! I work Monday through Friday, and because Movin’ On fell on a Friday, I knew I had to get out of work to attend the festival.

I am a really big Larsson fan, and I saw her in Philadelphia the previous month. I knew she always selected a fan to come onstage for the Lush Life dance, so I had a plan in mind weeks in advance. I ordered blue glitter and non-toxic acrylic paint, and the afternoon of the festival, I had 10 friends help paint and glitter my entire body.

We then got to the gates at 2 p.m. and sprinted to the barricade when the doors opened at 3:30 p.m. We managed to get to the barricade on the right side of the stage.

Of course, it was raining, but I had a poncho to prevent all the paint from washing off. It was definitely cold and miserable leading up to Zara [Larsson] since it was such a long wait, but it was totally worth it.

OS: What inspired you to paint yourself blue?

Eden: I knew I wanted to stand out, and a few years ago, Zara had a dolphin meme to her song “Symphony” go viral, so it just popped into my head to go full blue!

OS: When she was selecting a fan for the dance, how did you get her to notice you?

Eden: I am a huge Zara [Larsson] fan, so I knew all the songs, and I made sure to sing along the whole time. I noticed she kept coming over to my side and pointing at me, so it hinted at what was to come.

I also brought a sign that said “I skipped work 4 Lush Life” and held it up right before she selected me.

OS: What was going through your mind when she selected you?

Eden: I had a feeling I would get picked. No one else put in as much effort, but it was definitely an adrenaline rush.

She walked over and said something along the lines of, “This person has been committed all night. Are you ready?”

Then I hopped the barricade and a staff member led me around back and up the steps to the stage.

OS: Describe your on-stage experience.

Eden: It was amazing!

I blacked out for a moment, but it was so awesome meeting her in person in front of so many people. I had already posted a video of me doing the dance on my socials in November of 2025, so I had it memorized for a long time.

Something people may not have seen was that after I did the dance, I had a Lego minifigure keychain of Zara on my belt loop that I gave her, and she held it up to the crowd.

After we danced, we went to the wings, and I spoke to Zara and her dancers for a bit. I congratulated her on the new album and told her dancers they were awesome.

OS: What was the atmosphere of the night like?

Eden: Everyone around was singing and dancing during the concert; the vibes were definitely there!

I got a lot of stares and questions about my body paint. I heard the Smurf, Avatar, Allstate commercials, and a lot of other funny things.

OS: What were the reactions from your friends?

Eden: My friends were screaming; they said the people around them probably thought they were crazy.

OS: Have people recognized you after the performance?

Eden: Tons of people recognized me. My friends had to shield me after so many people asked to take photos after the concert.

Because Zara [Larsson] asked my name on stage, random people would just shout, “Sean” or “Dolphin Guy.”

The following night, I wore the shirt that she spray-painted out to the bars and got a lot of stares and comments. People would ask me to film the dance with them or take photos in the shirt.

OS: What made you choose “We Are Penn State” as your t-shirt design?

Eden: I knew I wanted to pay tribute to everyone in the audience, and being an alum, it just made sense.

Zara didn’t seem to know what it was, which was funny. She asked, “Am I Penn State now?” which was hilarious.
