Penn State-Marshall Scheduled For 3:30 P.M. Kickoff On FS1

Penn State football’s September 5 season opener against Marshall is set for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff on FS1, the team announced on Wednesday.

This is the third meeting between the two teams, with the prior two both resulting in Penn State victories. Both games were prior to 1930. The Thundering Herd last played a Big Ten team in 2024 when they lost 49-14 to then-No. 3 Ohio State.

The game is part of a one-off contract between the two teams announced in 2021.
