Penn State-Temple Scheduled For Noon Kickoff On ESPN2

Penn State football’s September 12 matchup against Temple is set for a noon kickoff on ESPN2, the team announced Wednesday.

The Nittany Lions and the Owls have a storied history, playing for the first time in 1931. While Temple won the first two meetings, the Nittany Lions now hold a 40-1-4 all-time record. The Owls’ last win came in 2015 when former Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg was sacked 10 times.

The matchup between the two Pennsylvania sides is the first of a home-and-home series agreed to in 2018. This time, Temple will host the game at Lincoln Financial Field, while the Nittany Lions will host the Owls next season on September 18.
