Penn State Baseball Catcher Jimmy Gray Enters Transfer Portal

Penn State baseball freshman catcher Jimmy Gray will enter the transfer portal when it opens on Monday, June 1, he announced on social media on Thursday.

Gray joined the Nittany Lions from Salesianum School in Wilmington, Delaware. He helped lead his team to a state championship and earned second-team All-State and first-team All-Conference honors. He posted a .330 batting average in his junior year and was ranked the No. 6 catcher in Pennsylvania and the No. 39 prospect.

He did not see any action this year, redshirting as a result. He will bring four years of eligibility to his new team.
