Your Guide To Nike Discounts This Summer

Out with the swoosh and in with the three stripes.

Penn State will officially make the switch from Nike to Adidas on July 1. After spending every year since 1993 with the company, the stores have racked up a lot of Nike merch. Whether you like it or not, the Nittany Lions will have all-new gear soon.

As a result, retailers are discounting Nike merchandise ahead of the transition. Here’s your guide to discounts in State College if you are looking for some last-minute Nike gear.

HUB Student Book Store

The official Penn State student bookstore, located in the HUB, has everything from Nike at 70% off.

In fact, the store has 50% off all name-brand apparel right now, excluding Champion. Some items are also eligible for an extra 50% off during clearance sales.

The bookstore has everything from hats, shirts, and jackets, to textbooks, notes, books, and other academic items. If you are in Happy Valley for the summer or just visiting, be sure to stop by before it’s too late.

Lions Pride

While Lions Pride does not have any specific Nike sale listed on social media or on its website, items such as Nike-branded hoodies and Tyler Warren jerseys are listed at 50% off on its website.

Family Clothes Line

Family Clothes Line is another without a specific sale posted online.

That said, in an Instagram video posted on Thursday, certain Nike jerseys, crewnecks, and t-shirts are hung under 60%-off signs.

The online store is running a similar deal, but only 40% off. Jerseys dropped from $129.99 to $77.99, with other clothing items following suit. Folks shopping online and looking for even more off can use ADD20SALE at checkout for an additional 20% discount.

The Nittany Outlet

Also known as Lion and Cub, the Nittany Outlet is running an online spring sale offering 30% off all purchases over $25 and 15% off purchases under that amount. Just use code SAVE30 at checkout.

It’s important to note that the store is currently not accepting online orders, per the store’s website, and it is unclear when it will resume.
