Lady Lions Announce 2026-27 Big Ten Opponents
Penn State women’s basketball released its Big Ten opponents for the 2026-2027 season on Monday. The Lady Lions will host nine games and travel for eight.

Penn State is set to face Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin, Washington, and Oregon at home. The Nittany Lions were 1-7 against those teams a season ago. The only win was an overtime thriller with Purdue.
Penn State will travel to face Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwestern, UCLA, and USC.
Similar to last season, Penn State will face Rutgers both at home and on the road. The Nittany Lions split the series with the Scarlet Knights last year, but won the more recent game.
The 2025-26 Lady Lions finished their season 11-18 and 4-14 in conference play, but welcomed a completely new staff with former Penn State standout Tanisha Wright leading the way.
Dates and times for Penn State’s season have yet to be released.
